
The 2026 iteration of THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA, held in Bangkok from May 26 to 30, has been hailed as a resounding success, attracting a record 158,243 visitors and generating a staggering THB 136.54 billion (USD 4.13 billion) in trade value. Despite global economic challenges, the event saw a surge in exhibiting companies, with 3,590 participants from 56 countries occupying 6,710 booths, a 10% increase from the previous edition.
Growth Across the Board
This year’s event expanded its footprint, filling all 12 halls at the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani venue and sprawling into the IMPACT Forum Hall 4, boasting a total exhibition area of 140,000 square meters. The growth was not just in size but also in participation: 1,385 Thai exhibitors and 2,205 international exhibitors showcased their products across nine product segments, from Food Technology to Fine Food.
The event welcomed visitors from 148 countries and territories, with Thailand, China, the UAE, Andorra, and the UK leading the top five purchasing markets. Fine Food, Food Technology, Drinks, Fruits & Vegetables, and Sweets & Confectionery were the most in-demand product categories, with visitors seeking out the latest innovations and trends in these sectors.
